So long we miss you forever is a text-based meditation on the rapidly changing surfaces of Gastown/ Chinatown and the Downtown Eastside. So long we miss you forever borrows letters from some of the now-dwindling hand-painted signs that are slwoly disappearing amongst condo developments and new storefronts in the area. Slightly sad and sort of absurd, the posters articulate a fond and final farewell. The project consists of three posters-- each distributed separately, over the course of three consecutive weeks between July 12 - August 3rd, 2008
